In addition to our commitment to therapeutic riding, Golden Dreams also seeks to educate local communities about therapeutic riding and the positive impact it has on individuals with disabilities. Awareness Visits are an important and unique component of Golden Dreams’ mission to educate—especially children—of the challenges, courage, hope, and joy all people experience, whether disabled or not. These visits are given to groups from local communities to educate about therapeutic riding and the positive impact it has on individuals with disabilities. They can be tailored to the needs and interests of the particular group, and may or may not include horseback riding.
If your school or class, religious or civic organization, or company would be interested in arranging an educational visit to Golden Dreams, please contact us. If you want to combine it with lunch, we have picnic facilities.
