About Golden Dreams
Golden Dreams Therapeutic Riding Center was established at Baileywyck Farm in Middleburg, Virginia, in 2006. The nonprofit program combines the founders’ love of equines with their belief in giving back.
Since commencing operations, Golden Dreams has made a difference in the lives of many children and adults in Middleburg and the surrounding communities. Riding lessons are given by riding instructors assisted by up to three volunteers per rider. We currently provide services to twenty riders, utilizing five horses, with the help of over twenty dedicated volunteers. In addition to riding lessons, Golden Dreams offers special needs and awareness programs for regional schools and the community at large. We also participate annually in the Loudoun County Farm Tour.
The strength of Golden Dreams’ families is inspiring. Brothers, sisters, parents, friends, and extended family members gather to watch their rider demonstrate his/her riding skills.
Riders’ accomplishments are greeted with fanfare—smiles, high-fives and cheers accompany every lesson!
Please consider a donation or volunteering, as the program exists purely by private and public donations and the help of its volunteers.
